This magazine or webzine, was created in September of 2005 by Sara Daniel. Sara created Shiny Silver Fords Magazine with the hope of becoming more involved with the music that she listened to. Running a magazine is hard work, so she enlisted the help of her friends Amanda O'Rourke and Shariya Lynn. They were tired of sitting on the sidelines and not doing anything with something that they were so immensely passionate about. They needed to get involved some how, they feel that this was the best way to work within something they feel so strongly about. This is the product of lots of frustration with HTML and many late nights. This is a magazine for you, for us and most importantly for the music.

The name Shiny Silver Fords, comes from lyrics in a song that Sara chose when she first created this website. We cover the San Francisco Bay Area (Sara) and the Chicago Area (Shariya)
