Hey guys I just wanted to say that 1 year ago today I started this magazine. We've come a long way and I am so proud of everyone and thankful for everyone that has been involed in this process. I promised I would have a big update today so I delivered. When I say big I mean big. I posted 4 interviews and one very special interview. My good friend Shariya will be joining the Shiny Silver Fords staff. So let's welcome her with opens arms. Other than that because Labor Day Weekend is upon us I am going to take this opportunity to work really hard and get things really rolling. I have some interviews to post, a whole bunch of photos, and all of Shariya's pervious work. I am also going to start working on that new site I have been talking about so much. I'm hoping by the end of this month I can have something new :). Everything will be posted on Monday some point durning the day. Even though I haven't updated a lot has been going on here. First and most importantly we have a new staff member her name is Amanda she is really awesome and I am really looking forward to working with here. I think she will bring a lot to Shiny Silver Fords. Second, I was able to catch up with The Academy Is... (www.theacademyis.com) , Armor For Sleep (www.armorforsleep.com) , Hellogoodbye (www.hellogoodbye.net) , and Motion City Soundtrack (www.motioncitysoundtrack.com) at the San Francisco Warped Tour date so head over to the interview section and check those out. I have a stack of about 4 CDs to review so I will review though and get those up. Amanda is also working on reviewing The Format (www.theformat.com) CD that just came out as well as The Early November (www.theearlynovember.net) CD. Third, I am working on posting a whole bunch of new pictures and I am also moving all the pictures to our server because I was using a photobucket to host the pictures so the pictures might be up and down for the next few days. We are working on a new layout for this site and we are hoping it's going to be kickass. I am also working on fixing all the little things that are wrong with the site right now that I didn't notice were wanky at the time I posted ot. Please bare with us as we move everything from our free servers to this server and fix everything that needs to be fixed. So as you can tell we are really busy right now so expect a lot of stuff going on in the next few days, weeks, and months. Thanks so much for sticking around.

Wow, because it hasn't been forever since we have updated this site. Well happy new year, happy holidays. All that stuff I haven't said to you guys. I sincerely apologize for the lack of update, I know I say that every time but I really am. Since I last updated I've been really busy because of school and finals the place I used to work at was going out of business so I was really busy helping them out. So I no longer have a job, which means it might take longer for us to get some of our own webspace. In the meantime though I am going to TRY and get you guys some interview or 2. There are a few shows coming up that I am trying to go to and hopefully get some interviews in. The only problem with being 16 is I am still in school and according to my parents school is my number one priority and because of that I am not able to go to shows on school nights. Which makes this really hard. Haha. Well I do have a new spotlight. It's Steel Train (www.steeltrainrock.com) . I actually made the header in time for the new month…I just didn't have the time to change it or anything. But I was thinking about it constantly and how I needed to fix it. So please bare with us while we get our acts together we are all in school. Britt is in her senior year of high school, I believe Jen is a Freshmen in college, and I'm a Junior in high school so we are really busy with school. I'll get something soon. I PROMISE.

Okay.. seriously I am VERY VERY VERY sorry for the extreme lack of updates lately I started working and I have to keep up in school or I will lose my job. Hopefully my job will bring me a chance to get my on webspace and a domain name. Anyways… I was supposed to go see Saves The Day, The Early November, Senses Fail, and Emanuel and I might have been able to interview one of the bands but I have a friend who thinks it's funny to lie to me about ticket since September and then I had to go to a family dinner for Thanksgiving. Speaking of Thanksgiving I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and ate a lot of food. A new month is also upon us so we have a new spotlight. This month is Panic! At The Disco (www.panicatthedisco.com) and I hope if you haven't already pick up there cd A Fever You Can't Sweat. It's extremely good and I have been listen to it non stop. We are also trying to get Britt step up to interview The All American Rejects so we can give you guys a new interview.

Well.. I Really suck at this whole.. updating thing..the only excuse is not a very good one so it doesn't matter. I made a new featured artist this month it is Houston Calls (www.houstoncalls.com) you can read the little bio about them under the "spotlight" section. Speaking of that I talked to Jenn and she thought it would also be good to change "Featured Artists" to tours to check out. So we are doing that and we are in the process of making a page of tours for that you might enjoy. I wrote a review for Straylight Run's (www.straylightrun.com) new EP "Prepare To Be Wrong" if you want you can check it out. The CD is amazing. I also (finally) added some pictures from when I saw Firescape (www.firescapemusic.com) go check them out. Lately it seems like horrible things are always happen I am very very saddened to report that on Halloween Bayside (baysiderocks.com) was involed in a serve car accident. Their van had slid and flipped over on a patch of ice. Sadly their drummer John "Beatz" Holohan did not make it. John was an admired person and musician by not only his bandmates but to family, friends, and fans as well. The music world will greatly miss him. Victory Records has set up a John Holohan Memorial Fund for his family you can make donation by clicking here . RIP John "Beatz" Holohan.

Hey..happy Daylight Savings Day and Halloween.. I hope that everyone is going to have a splendid Halloween. Well I added an interview with Josh Partington of Firescape (firescapemusic.com) . So check that out it was ALOT of fun. Firescape is great and you should check them out. I am going to change the featured artist soon.. so expect that. And I was also thinking that instead of have "spotlight" that I have like a "tours to check out" section.. so I think I will change that and put the tours that are going on that should be really really good. I am very saddened to say that Olamide Adeyooye was found murdered and then burned in a chicken house in Missouri. This is a horrible act and I still wonder how someone could even think about doing something so terrible to someone so innocent. Please keep Olamide and her family and friends in your thoughts as they go through this tough time. RIP Olamide Elizabeth Adeyooye

Phew, sorry about the lack of update lately I've been really busy with a lot of things lately. Today I added 2 CD reviews both of which were written by Jen for the bands Fair Vernoa (fairvernoamd.com) and Cauterize (Cauterize) they are both really good and you should go check them out. I also added pictures from the Limbeck (limbeck.net) show on October 11th. I also added a whole bunch of news bands to the links sections so check those out too. On a much heavier note Andy's (from The Junior Varsity ) girlfriend, Olamide Elizabeth Adeyooye("Ola") went missing on October 12th. She is 21 5'3" and 110 lbs and of Nigerian decent.
