Sara: For the record state your name and what you do in All Time Low
Alex: My name is Alex and I sing and play guitar in All Time Low.

Sara: With your experience playing Bamboozle how would you say Warped Tour is different?
Alex: It’s similar and different. There are less people most of the time but it’s still kinda the same principle set up and it’s everyday so it’s pretty ridiculous.
Sara: Is it more enjoyable or are they both pretty much the same?
Alex: I mean they are both really enjoyable. One is like a one day thing and this is like you get to spend your whole summer doing it. It’s amazing.

Sara: All Time Low gained a good amount of popularity in the last year or so what do you think contributed to this?
Alex: I think the internet helped. We got signed that always helps. We got on tour with some really good bands like Cute Is What We Aim For, Boys Like Girls, Amber Pacific, Sugarcult. They all helped us out.

Sara: Did you think Put Up Or Shut Up was as successful as it was?
Alex: Absolutely not. We had no idea what is was going to do. Once it started selling as well as it has or mind were kinda blown.

Sara: When All Time Low started a bunch of you were still in high school. How did this effect your band and where it would go?
Alex:We were definitely limited to what we could do because we were in high school and we had those obligations. As soon as we broke free we had the chance to go all out and really bust ass.

Sara: What does the rest of the year look like for you?
Alex: We are going to finish up the rest of Warped Tour. We have a new record coming out in September and then we are touring the fall with Boys Like Girls. It should be awesome.

Sara: What should people expect from that tour?
Alex: A really good time probably. We are playing pretty good venues. The audition is playing as well. It’s going to be a good time. All the band are friends.
Sara: Are you going all around the US?
Alex: Yes, it’s going to be a full US tour.

Sara: Sometimes there is shady stuff that can go around in the music business when this happens what keeps you playing?
Alex: I don’t know I just try to keep a positive attitude and not really take anything too seriously. I try to avoid all the drama. I’m really not interested in it. We are doing this for fun and to make people happy so why do anything else?

Sara: When do you think a band has made it?
Alex: I don’t know I think a band as probably made it when they can support a family with music. That’s what I’d like to do in the future. I’d like to do this until I don’t have to worry about anything.

Sara: Was there a moment when you realized that this is what you wanted to do forever?
Alex: I think I have always kinda been a performer at heart. I was always the class clown I was always in theater and that stuff I always liked to be the center of attention. When I realized I could play music I was like this kinda fits so I got up on stage and it worked out.

Sara: If you were only able to chose 3 CDs to listen to for the rest of your life which CDs would you choose and why?
Alex: Blink 182’s Enema Of The State because it’s really what got into this. Jimmy Eat World’s Bleed American just because it’s amazing and The Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band because its’s one of my favorite albums ever.

Sara: If you were granted 3 wishes what would you wish for and why?
Alex: I would wish for a bull dog, I would wish for a life time supply of In-N-Out Burger and I would wish for peace and love.
